Beaches
The Island combines stretches of coastline with spectacular sheer rocky crags with others with low-lying shingle or sandy beaches. Around the island there is a delightful selection of tiny sheltered coves and large stretches of sandy beach that are amongst the most well known on the Island.

S'Albufera, situated in Alcúdia bay, is Majorca's biggest wetland area. It comprises low flooded areas and extensive dunes connect it to the sea. Visitors here can enjoy the beauty at close quarters by following well-marked routes on foot or cycle.
