This villa is in a stunning location on the gentle lower slopes of the Puig de Maria mountain, accessed via a country track next to the famous monument off the Pollensa road. It has spectacular views over the old town of Pollensa to the wooded hills beyond and is only a short walk from the town itself. The villa has WiFi installed.
A traditionally built Majorcan cottage made from local stone with modern styling inside including white walls, terracotta tiled floors, beamed ceilings and halogen spot lighting. The airy lounge, dining room and kitchen are all open plan. The lounge area has comfortable sofas, dark wood furniture and a traditional Majorcan stove. Double patio doors lead out from here onto the terrace. The kitchen area has appliances including a dishwasher and a microwave and a pantry with lots of storage space. The two bedrooms are both beautifully furnished with antique furniture and have views over the gardens. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath and a shower.
A vine covered terrace runs along the lounge side of the cottage with a table and benches. There are wonderful views from here of the old town of Pollensa, the famous 365 Calvari steps and the mountains beyond. Looking the other way, there are lovely views of the Puig de Tomir mountain. There's another terrace in front of the cottage with a built-in barbecue and its own seating area.
The gardens are very well cared for with lawns and mature shrubs and trees. The pool (9 x 4m, depth: 0.70-1.80) itself is surrounded on three sides by lawn and a stone sun terrace with comfortable sun loungers runs along the other side. Also in the gardens is a children's swing and a slide.
This is a lovely villa in a wonderful location and just a short walk from Pollensa and its cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and the beaches are just a short drive away.
