Very clean and cosy house, a real home away from home. Great location to explore Southern coast.

We had an excellent stay at this property. The facilities and location for us were ideal whilst we attended a family wedding some 8 miles away. The adjacent stables provided a constant point of interest. The lay out was ideal for us and our 91 year old mother as the property is wheel chair friendly. It was quiet and peaceful but still gave easy access to surrounding villages and towns. I would recommend it.

Great stay and nice time had by all! The accommodation has extra interest with the livery yard and ménage nearby. The property is rural and peaceful but lots to do around and about. We had good contact and information from the start to finish. Very happy and would stay again.

We booked this cottage on a last minute whim and it didn't disappoint!!. The cottage is immaculate, has the most wonderful countryside setting but a short walk to the local pub which has the most idyllic setting. With two little boys in tow, the farm had superb amounts of space to play and the owner was so incredibly patient and kind with my boys. I would definitely return to this beautiful farm and would recommend it to families. The plus side is there is also an additional cottage and apartment for larger parties and with the fire pit and barbeque on site for use, we will be encouraging our friends and family to come with us next time! Ideal accommodation for our weekend - lovely location, quiet (thought it might have been noisier with the horses but hardly knew they were there), very homely features, comfy bed, good strong shower plus secure parking. We ordered a food delivery (Waitrose) which worked well. There are a number of local Gastro pubs within a short drive if you want to eat out. The owner makes you feel very welcome and is available to answer any queries.

I have just returned from a long weekend with my elderly father and my two teenage children. It was the perfect place to stay. Spotlessly clean, everything was catered for and all on the one level which was fab for my dad. Set in beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from it all. We had the best time.

Great at communicating and especially accommodating when we needed to change our dates . The owner welcomed us warmly, showed us around and said that we could contact her if we needed to know anything else which was reassuring . We saw her around from time to time with the horses but she did not intrude on us. The cottage is well equipped, very clean and comfortable. It’s in the perfect position to travel to most local attractions. We were only there for a few nights but visited Arundel, Chichester, Hayling Island, The Witterings and our favourite Bosham. Bosham is with visiting more that once as it is a very different place at high tide from low tide.

The owner was very welcoming. The location is fantastic - very rural feel and nearby to Bosham and a 25 min drive to West Wittering beach. Fabulous stay, thanks so much!

The owner was there to welcome us and show us round the property. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed - one of the reasons I had selected it was it had a wet room which was perfect for my 88 year old mother to use. Very prompt at responding to communications both before and during our stay. We had a great stay and would like to come back again to explore the area more.

Fantastic holiday home in a great location. We had an idyllic long weekend staying here, and could not have enjoyed it more. Jackie was wonderful and so welcoming, and the whole family loved our time here.

Fantastic stay for our wedding! Lovely host. Well equipped kitchen with everything you could need and plenty of toiletries in the wet room! TV couldn’t be tuned but this may have been us! Our son loved the horses out his bedroom window! We will be back!!

We had a lovely few days at The Shetlands cottage. Perfect accommodation it had everything we needed and so clean! It was lovely seeing the horses around and it allowed our dogs too which was perfect. The accommodation is so close to a lot of places, we visited Hayling Island, West Wittering, Bosham, and Southsea. I would highly recommend this location and accommodation and we’d go back! Lovely peaceful and clean accommodation. Myself, my mum and my two little ones had a fantastic time. The children loved seeing the horses in their stables from their bedroom window. The location was very central with everything we needed just a short drive away. Would definitely recommend!

A spacious place with good size bedrooms. Very comfortable and well equipped. Very rural setting but still close to Chichester, The Witterings and Portsmouth.

Accommodation clean and spacious. Good location for exploring the local area. Great dog friendly pub pub nearby The Woodmancote - friendly staff, great food and enormous portions!

This is smartly furnished and clean. Nice seeing the horses turning out in the mornings. The location is great for seeing the nearby sights - we went to the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum 15 minutes away, Fishbourne Roman Palace, 15 minutes. There's good cycle routes, access to the beach at West Wittering, and the South Downs Way national trail very close. Although near the busy A27, you wouldn't know it. Very quiet and rural. Jackie is a great host. Beds were comfortable.

Well positioned for visiting around the Chichester area. Clean practical accommodation, set on an equestrian farm. We had a very nice stay and everyone was welcoming.
