This traditional semi detached Menorcan villa with large private pool is situated in the most convenient location in a pretty residential road just above the beach, restaurants and shops in the popular beach resort of Son Bou.
The accommodation is split into two separate dwellings, the main part of the villa with four bedrooms sleeping seven and the apartment, with a separate entrance, sleeping four. This makes it ideal for the extended family with grandparents or teenagers who want their own space.
The main house has two levels and is entered via a hallway into the living room, which is furnished with two three-seater sofas, DVD player, dining table and six chairs plus a working fireplace, ideal for early and late season bookings when the nights can get a bit chilly.
The kitchen, off the living area, has a freestanding cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, double sink and ample crockery and utensils for self-catering.
A corridor to the right of the living area leads to a twin bedroom with two single beds and built-in wardrobes and one single bedroom with built-in wardrobes plus a shower room.
Upstairs from this level are two more bedrooms and a further bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and French doors leading to the terrace with sea views. The other is a twin bedroom with two single beds and terrace with sea views. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, fans and bedside tables.
The separate apartment is located downstairs, to the right of the main entrance door. Accommodation here comprises an open-plan living/dining room with two-seater sofa, dining table and chairs, plus a TV. The breakfast bar separates this room from the kitchen, which has a freestanding cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and crockery/cutlery/utensils for four.
There are two bedrooms in the apartment, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. All have fitted wardrobes and fans. These bedrooms share a bathroom with walk in shower. The washing machine is located in a cupboard in the hallway.
The exterior area of the villa has plenty of terraces on various levels for sunbeds, plus there is a raised area with dining table/chairs and BBQ. The swimming pool (8m x 4m, 0.8m x 1.8m) has ladder access and a separate shallow children’s pool attached.
The villa and apartment together provide excellent, simple, value-for-money accommodation close to all the facilities of this lovely resort. The beach is a five-minute walk away, as are the bars and restaurants.
